Verland is hiring Exceptional People to provide Compassionate Care as a Summer Youth Program Teacher at the Sewickley campus.
Location:Sewickley 15143
Shift available:
Seasonal Position: 7 am - 3:30 pm Monday-Friday

The Summer Youth Program Teacher develops, implements (with the assistance of the Summer Aides) and supervises both programmatic and direct care services for physically and mentally challenged youth residents attending the Verland Summer Program. The Summer Program Teacher provides specialized care in perception, self-direction, adapted living skills, social skills, and communication.

Up to 2 weeks paid training provided by Verland, to educate new hires on daily living skills, social engagement, personal hygiene skills, along with each individual’s support plan/ personal development goals that are essential to improve the daily lives of the individuals that we serve.* Completion of training is required before starting resident care *
