This position will also conduct research and analysis to identify emerging job opportunities and skill requirements and collaborates with stakeholders to develop strategies aligned with these trends. Lastly, analyzing placement data and internship placements is important to measure program effectiveness and make recommendations for program enhancements based on data analysis.
Position Details:
1.Event Management and Fund Raising: In coordination with office staff foster collaborative relationships with faculty, staff, employers, and external partners to enhance program offerings and opportunities for students. Responsible for all aspects of event planning, including creation, administration, and budgeting. Create and direct various fund-raising corporate partnerships related to career development, including job fairs, workshops, and networking events. Ensure that events are well-organized, meet objectives, and adhere to budgetary constraints.
2.Career Development: Conduct one-on-one development sessions to help students identify their interests, skills, and goals. Provide aid and guidance to students regarding career choices and development. Assist in the development of career-related resources, such as resume writing, interview preparation, and job search strategies.
3.Employment Trend Strategizing: Act as a liaison between students and employers, facilitating connections, internship opportunities, and recruitment efforts. Stay updated on current employment trends and industry demands. Conduct research and analysis to identify emerging job opportunities and skill requirements. Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to develop strategies that align with employment trends and ensure program effectiveness.
4.Marketing and Promotion Coordination: Develop and implement effective online and collateral marketing strategies to promote BCP fund raising and career events. Coordinate marketing efforts, including website content, videos, and social media campaigns for the office. Collaborate with the University of Toledo marketing department to ensure a consistent message and brand in marketing materials.
5.Placement Data Analysis: Generate and analyze placement data for graduating undergraduates and graduates to identify trends and patterns. Track and report internship placement data to measure the effectiveness of the program. Use data analysis to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for program enhancements.
