Position Summary
The Associate Teacher will assist in the development and implementation of the classroom environment in the facilitation of the cognitive, social-emotional, physical, language, and communication development of the children within the program. The incumbent will support the development of a classroom plan for curriculum, individual child planning, and family communication. It is the duty of the Associate Teacher to work in collaboration with fellow teachers and administrative staff to carry out all responsibilities to the best of their ability and exercise their best judgement as they execute their duties.
With updates to processes at the University of Denver this position will no longer require reapplication on a yearly basis by current employees already holding the role. Employment can be renewed yearly, but no longer requires the employee to reapply for the position unless otherwise told so.

Approximately 8 hours/day, Monday - Friday, between the hours of 7:45am-5:15pm. Evening and weekends as required.

Salary Grade Number
The salary grade for the position is 6.
Salary Range
The salary range for the position is $44,000 - $51,000.

The salary offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal salary equity considerations, and available market information, but not based on a candidate’s sex or any other protected status.
