Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director to join our team. As the Director, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of our organization. This is a leadership role that requires strong communication skills, the ability to work collaboratively with staff and volunteers, and a passion for providing support and care to individuals and families in need.

Duties:

• Provide leadership and guidance to staff and volunteers
• Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve organizational goals
• Oversee day-to-day operations of the organization
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
• Manage budgets and financial resources
• Foster a positive and inclusive work environment
• Collaborate with community partners to enhance services and programs
• Develop and maintain relationships with donors and stakeholders
• Plan and execute fundraising events
• Provide bereavement support to individuals and families
• Coordinate and facilitate support groups
• Conduct training sessions for staff, volunteers, and community members

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role, preferably in a hospice care or social work setting
• Strong background in bereavement support, fundraising, event planning, or related areas
• Experience working with children is highly desirable
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to mentor and develop staff members
• Knowledge of Christian counseling principles is a plus
