In a Forbes Five-star environment, our talented team of care givers create memorable spa experiences for our guests. We are looking for experienced, and talented massage therapists for part-time and on-call roles for our spa. Interested applicants should be confident and thrive in a team environment and be able to perform Swedish, Deep tissue, hot stone, and mother-to-be massages. Compensation is based on an hourly rate, commissions and gratuity.

Responsibilities for this position include:

• Administers all massage, body and hydrotherapy treatments to the guests.
• Maintains the massage, body/tub treatment areas daily including all counters, mirrors, product containers, laundry, linens, carts, etc.
• Prepares and maintains the products, supplies and equipment in the massage, body/bath and prep rooms.
• Promotes and sells massage, body and bath products by properly completing the prescription card.
• Maintains knowledge of all treatments and has the ability to explain treatments to guests.
• Assists Supervisor in performing scheduled inventory of massage, body, bath and prep room for proper ordering.
• Stays up-dated and becomes well-versed/trained in the latest developments pertinent to your department, the spa and the hotel.
• Provides consistent services in line with our Forbes Five Star standards.
• Maintains professional guest relations.
• Maintains the cleanliness and neatness of the spa.
• Performs special projects delegated by the Spa Director or MOD or SOD.
• Performs whatever is necessary to ensure and maintain a pleasant visit for each guest.
• Conducts tours of the facility when needed.
• Assists management and co-workers as requested/needed.
• Assists in training new Massage Therapists as requested.
• Assists with special projects/events as requested.
• Attends all departmental, spa and property meetings and training sessions.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or the equivalent required.
• Must possess current licenses and certificates for massage therapy as required by the state, county, city/town.
• One year experience in body massage treatments desired.
• Must attend product knowledge training.
• First Aid and CPR training desired, but not necessary.
