Responsibilities: - Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant - Escort guests to their assigned tables or waiting areas - Provide menus and assist with seating arrangements - Answer phone calls and take reservations or provide information about the restaurant - Maintain a clean and organized host/host station - Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth guest flow - Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints - Assist with food service tasks as needed Skills: - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Strong customer service and guest relations abilities - Proficient in using POS systems for order entry and payment processing - Knowledge of phone etiquette and professional phone manner - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously - Familiarity with Aloha POS system is a plus - Previous experience in the hospitality or restaurant industry is preferred As a host/host, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing them with a warm welcome and ensuring their overall satisfaction during their dining experience.
