Responsibilities:
Legal Support:
- Review and draft routine contracts, leases, and agreements, especially focused on access agreements with property owners.
- Conduct legal research pertinent to our communications and technology services, ensuring our practices and products are compliant with current regulations.
- Collaborate on the legal aspects of merger and acquisition activities.
- Shadow the CEO in meetings and calls, capturing vital details, decisions, and actionable items.
- Draft memos, emails, and other formal communications under the CEO’s directive.
- Oversee the CEO’s calendar, guaranteeing judicious time management and attention to priority engagements.
- Act as the primary touchpoint for the CEO, vetting and managing incoming communications.
- Partner with the HR team to ensure legal compliance across all employment-related documents.
- Formulate and upkeep a standardized legal framework for the company.
- Act as the central figure for property lease negotiations and access agreements, ensuring favorable terms for our ISP infrastructure and other ventures.
- • Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
- • Admitted to practice law in New York.
- • 1-3 years of legal experience, preferably in corporate law, tech, or real estate.
- • Excellent organizational skills with an aptitude for multitasking.
- • Ability to thrive in a rapid-paced work setting.
- • Proficient in written and verbal communication.
- • Adaptability to fluctuating schedules and occasional travel.
