Job Title - LPN for Shelter-Based Primary Care Clinic, Temp to Hire
Three 12-hour shifts a week with rotated one Saturday a month
7am-7pm
· Why is this role open? Immediate need due to growing volumes · Worksite Setting: primary care clinic located at a homeless shelter· Weekly schedule hours and call with length of assignment: three 12-hour night shifts a week with an unpaid 30 min lunch, ideally can also rotate one Saturday a month, also 12 hoursan LPN nights 3 days 12 hours at the Support and Connection Center in Harlem. Wednesday nights are a high priority
· Patient volume & demographic: busy primary care clinic treating homeless patient population· Who does the temporary staff report to? DON, Gresyl Soler· Bill rate: $60/hour- $42 Bill
60k salary for new grad could get to 65k for experienced · Interview process: One round phone interview with Gresyl or one of her nursing leaders, then start!· What EMR/software are you using? eCW· Credentialing time frame: Typically less than a week· What is the minimum experience required? Would you consider a new grad? - will see a new grad Responsibilities include:Initial screeningsVitals signsImmunizationsBlood draws – willing to train in blood draws if neededAdditional notes:Security is onsite 24/7 and there is always an office manager in the clinic everyday onsite along with an outreach specialist. Medical providers are onsite 1-2 a week plus telehealth if needed.
