Responsibilities:
The Capital Markets Analyst will:
- Produce short and long-form capital markets Offering Memoranda and financial models for active presentation to both internal and external parties
- Identify ideal debt and equity partners transaction
- Maintain a pipeline of active and prospective capital markets participants and create marking materials for secondary market transactions
- Handle complex financial modeling of commercial real estate transactions and utilize market data / comps to correctly underwrite a transaction
- Develop and structure financing proposals for presentation internally to the Fund’s Credit committee, and externally to potential debt and equity partners
- Assist in securitization efforts including preparing offering memorandum, collateral data tapes, and data rooms
- Support the the firm's existing investment asset management functions by analyzing performance, credit, and market conditions across the seasoned loan portfolio
- Interact and communicate with borrowers to address sensitive and non-routine matters in addition to risk related items
- Assist in business development and fund marketing, with significant external exposure to existing investors, prospective equity partners and clients
- Perform other duties, as needed
- 3 years of related work experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, and/or Real Estate
- Microsoft Office proficient
- Solid analytical and research skills
- Great interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly organized
