The Swift Group is looking for a Windows Systems Engineer to join an exciting mission oriented program. The role is located on onsite in Herndon, VA and requires a TS/SCI with Poly clearance.

Responsibilities:

• Provide Tier 3 and Tier 4 support for a large customer domain, resolving complex technical issues efficiently and effectively.
• Troubleshoot and resolve advanced issues related to Server OS (2016, 2019, 2022) and associated technologies.
• Design, create, and maintain OSD (Operating System Deployment) task sequences for deployment and management of Windows systems.
• Implement and manage Group Policy configurations to ensure security and compliance across the domain.
• Manage and maintain Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP services, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
• Demonstrate expertise in cloud technologies, leveraging them to enhance system capabilities and efficiency.
• Utilize Window Server Update Services (WSUS) for patch management across various enclaved environments.
• Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation and system management tasks.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders to address technical challenges and deliver solutions.
• Write and maintain enterprise-level technical standards documentation and diagrams.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service skills, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet deadlines consistently.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 11 years of experience as a Windows Systems Engineer.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
• Proven success in troubleshooting Tier 3 and Tier 4 tickets, resolving complex technical issues.
• Expert-level experience with Server OS (2016, 2019, 2022) and associated technologies.
• Extensive experience creating and managing OSD task sequences.
• Expert knowledge of Group Policy design and implementation.
• Strong proficiency in Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP management.
• Demonstrated expertise and hands-on experience with cloud technologies.
• In-depth understanding of Window Server Update Services (WSUS) for patch management.
• Proficient in PowerShell scripting for automation and system management.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong adaptability to learn and implement new technologies.
• Experience in writing technical standards documentation and diagrams.
• Effective customer service skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines consistently.
• MCSE (Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert) or MCITP (Microsoft Certified IT Professional).
• US Citizenship and an active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance required

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience with Microsoft Task Sequences and Configuration Manager (SCCM).
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerShell scripting.
• Understanding of Enterprise Networking best practices.
