- Engineer and implement Linux Platform-as-a-Service solutions, leveraging expertise in Linux, Ruby, and Python.
- Automate Linux service delivery processes to optimize efficiency and reliability.
- Capture, analyze, decompose, and design system requirements for innovative hardware systems and applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, deploy, and support cutting-edge solutions.
- Utilize systems engineering tools (e.g., DOORS, JAMA, JIRA) for requirement management and lifecycle support.
- Stay informed about technical trends in information technology and align project efforts with business unit requirements.
- Apply project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) to development efforts and contribute to Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) principles.
- Ensure compliance with enterprise architecture frameworks and principles throughout the systems engineering lifecycle (SELC).
- Leverage Digital Twin technology to enable virtual designs and simulations.
- Keep senior management informed of project or program status through regular updates and reports.
- Assist project and program teams in preparing for program management reviews and technical assessments.
- 8 years of relevant experience
- Proven experience in engineering and implementing Linux Platform-as-a-Service solutions.
- Proficiency in Linux, Ruby, and Python for automation and service delivery.
- Strong background in systems engineering methodologies, including requirements capture, analysis, and design.
- Familiarity with systems engineering tools such as DOORS, JAMA, and JIRA.
- Ability to identify technical trends and align IT projects with business unit requirements.
- Experience applying project management models (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and supporting Model Based System Engineering (MBSE).
- Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks and principles, ensuring compliance throughout the SELC.
- Ability to use Digital Twin technology for virtual design and simulation.
- Excellent communication skills to convey project status and technical concepts to senior management.
- HS Diploma
- US Citizenship and an active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance required
- Experience in IT system automation, including artificial intelligence and machine learning (AI/ML).
- Proficiency with automation tools such as Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Terraform, etc.
- Knowledge of Security Development Operations (SecDevOps) and iterative development projects.
- Experience in cloud design, implementation, and configuration, including Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Familiarity with Agile development principles and modern software languages (e.g., Java, C, C , C#, Python, Perl, etc.).
- Bachelors degree
