Job Overview: The Hotel Manager is responsible for aspects of operations at the hotel, day-to-day staff management and guest satisfaction. The Hotel Manager will provide leadership to departments in support of our service culture, maximized operational efficiencies, and maximized financial profit by working closely with the General Manager.

Duties:

• Oversee all operations of the Front Desk, Housekeeping and Maintenance departments.
• Oversee all guest experience initiatives throughout said operating departments.
• Manage complaints and oversee the service recovery procedures.
• Recruit, select, train and manage team members to deliver guest services and quality products that will lead to achieving goals for revenue and profit. Perform personnel actions such as hiring and disciplinary action, in coordination with and approval by the General Manager and other managers as necessary.
• Properly administer company policies and procedures for human resources management, payroll administration, personnel transactions and fair treatment of team members.
• Must be courteous and gracious, maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
• Serving as an ambassador of the property and engaging the community.
• All other duties at the discretion of the General Manager.

Prerequisites:

• The ideal candidate is a seasoned and highly intelligent hotel professional with outstanding management skills and extensive hands-on experience. Available to work when needed, including weekends, holidays, and nights.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, or a similar field preferred.

Qualifications:

• 2 years of management and leadership experience in hospitality.
• Experience in opening, managing or repositioning a hotel with a clear track record.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with CRM systems, and project management tools.
• Excellent leadership and decision-making skills.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
