POSITION SUMMARY: The Sales & Events Manager is a highly motivated, forward-thinking, and creative minded individual that will drive all sales and events initiatives for The Sundry. The leading responsibilities of this role include managing and attending to all incoming event inquiries, analyzing and forecasting private event sales and effectively selling all private event spaces for The Sundry as well as working with The Uncommons. This position is equally responsible for proactive local and regional outreach to secure new business, event promotions, holiday planning and more to support revenue generation at the property. This position requires excellent organization, planning, communication, leadership and strategy.
GENERAL EXPECTATIONS:
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: (Includes but is not limited to the following duties. Other duties may be assigned):
MANAGEMENT & SUPERVISORY DUTIES: In collaboration with Operations, Culinary and Marketing, assist with analyzing and forecasting event sales for the restaurant, strategizing efficient selling tactics including but not limited to creative promotions and outreach for need periods & understanding lead generation for the local and regional market(s), as well as collaboration with other TableOne Hospitality restaurants for sharing of best practices while upholding TableOne Hospitality values and standards.

While performing the duties of this job, the Sales & Events Manager is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, and talk or hear. Frequently it is required to use hands to handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls and reach with hands and arms. The Sales & Events Manager is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must be able to assist with general event set up and breakdown which may include, but not limited to lifting, carrying and transporting supplies, etc.
The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds, be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time and able to safely lift and easily maneuver plates, cases of water, chairs and dining room tables when needed.
WORK CONDITIONS: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an Sales & Events Manager encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but can be high when working evening hours or at off- site events. Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, the Sales & Events Manager may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the restaurant. In addition, attendance at all scheduled training sessions and meetings is required.
