Three positions available: Asst. Cook, Prep/ Server, Prep/ Cashier

We are seeking employment for the three positions listed above,to work in our school’s dining services Monday through Friday 7:30am- 2:30pm (slightly flexible with hours) during the academic year. These positions will be responsible for performing a variety of duties and maintaining the Board of Health standards. Our dining staff prepares almost everything from scratch.

Responsibilities:

• Prep various items for the serving line.
• Assist as needed during lunchtime hours of service.
• Comply with all Federal, state and local laws and regulations for the storage, use and disposal of trash, rubbish, waste and hazardous material.
• Ensure complete cleanliness and sanitation per Board of Health Rules and Regulations.
• Maintain temperatures and chemical levels as outlined by provided standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned and cross train as needed within department.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High School Degree/GED required.
• Must be able to prep food according to the Board of Health standards.
• Time management and multi-tasking is a must.
• Ability to communicate clearly and be willing to work together as a team member to create a positive, enthusiastic and friendly work environment.
• Highly accountable, reliable, and prompt, with a strong positive work ethic.
• Must be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Serve Safe certificate is a benefit, but not needed.
