We are currently looking for a full-time Institutional Effectiveness Data Analyst. This position is responsible for reporting and analyzing data for Sullivan University. The analyst will also work with institutional stakeholders to identify organizational needs and provide analytic reporting, which includes data analysis and solution designs, to support and drive organizational decisions. Hours for this position will be Monday-Friday 8 am-5 pm; evening and Saturday work will be required during certain times of the year.
Responsibilities of the position include:
  • Provide positive customer service to faculty, staff, and other stakeholders.
  • Conduct and coordinate in-services, workshops, and seminars as needed to advance expertise within the faculty and staff in the areas of assessment and evaluation.
  • Design quality assurance and quality improvement data collection processes using evidence-based approaches to enhance the design and planning of course delivery, curricula, and learning environments.
  • Collect data for use to improve teaching and learning in the classroom.
  • Conduct data analysis of programmatic assessment data.
  • Provide analysis and reports for the Planning and Evaluation Coordinating Council (PECC), programmatic accreditation reports, and SACSCOC reports.
  • Provides data analysis and reports needed for the Executive Director of Academic Operations & Institutional Effectiveness, Provost, President, Vice President of Accreditation, and Senior Vice President of Enrollment Management.
  • Provide data analysis and reports needed for the Sullivan University Strategic Plan.
  • Collaborates on research initiatives using assessment and evaluation data.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements of the position include:
  • Masters in assessment & evaluation, programmatic evaluation, or a related field of study.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Access, and Power BI.
  • Knowledge of SPSS or other statistical software packages to assist with statistical analysis.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to investigate and analyze data to provide conclusions.
  • Three to five years related experience, specifically in assessment and evaluation.
  • Experience with Student Information Systems, preferably Anthology (CampusNexus).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Excellent data analytic, database [course management systems (Blackboard preferred), student information systems], and statistical package skills.
