Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented Leasing Agent to join our team. As a Leasing Agent, you will be responsible for assisting prospective tenants with finding and leasing properties that meet their needs. Your role will involve conducting property tours, processing applications, and ensuring a smooth leasing process from start to finish.

Duties:

- Conduct property tours for potential tenants, showcasing the features and benefits of each property

- Assist prospective tenants with the application process, including collecting necessary documents and conducting background checks

- Provide excellent customer service to current and prospective tenants, addressing any questions or concerns they may have

- Collaborate with property management to ensure all units are well-maintained and ready for move-in

- Prepare lease agreements and ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and in a timely manner

- Coordinate move-in and move-out processes, including conducting inspections and documenting any damages or repairs needed

- Handle tenant inquiries and maintenance requests promptly and professionally

- Utilize effective upselling techniques to promote additional services or amenities

- Other duties as assigned

Experience:

- Previous experience in leasing, property management, or a related field is preferred

- Strong administrative skills with attention to detail

- Knowledge of property maintenance and basic understanding of landlord-tenant law

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to handle conflict management situations with professionalism and tact

*Note: This position is base pay PLUS commission.
