Description

Job Summary: The purpose of the barback is to support the bar staff and ensure they have all the resources needed to give the guests a pleasant experience and maintain smooth bar operations. 

Job Responsibilities:

• Keep ice well filled

• Keep beer and liquor stocked 

• Keep all cups stocked 

• Keep all other needed supplies stocked and ready 

• Support bar staff as needed 

• Set up pool area 

• Take out trash 

• All other duties as assigned 

Qualifications

Education and Experience: 

• Sufficient education and literacy needed to identify and read product labels and to communicate with guests about job-related needs 

• Ability to read write and speak, and communicate in basic English preferred 

• CPR Trained (can obtain after employment) 

• Food Handling Certification 

• Alcohol Awareness Certification

• Detail oriented and thorough

• Ability to remain discreet and respect the privacy of guests 

• Ability to perform consistent work to the highest of standards 

• Ability to interact with guests in a pleasant friendly way 

• Ability to work under pressure in a high paced environment

• Basic knowledge of bar operations 

• Strong problem solving, communication, and interpersonal skills 

• Ability to remain observant and thorough
