RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coach and instruct athletes, both individually and in groups, using appropriate softball developmental instruction
- Assist the Director of Softball and other coaches with organizing and supervising athletes in connection with practice, games, combines, and showcases
- Lead or assist practices
- Attend games for the team(s) you work with
- Help maintain equipment and supplies in the Hitting House
- Develop and sustain positive relationships with athletes, families and guests of The St. James
- Supporting the safety of all members, guests and employees.
- Two or more years of successful coaching experience with demonstrated leadership ability for coaches and at least one year of experience for assistant coaches.
- Collegiate playing experience is a plus.
- Strong work ethic and organizational skills
- Great customer service and communication skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Background check and drug screen required
- Knowledgeable of safety training, procedures and best practices used throughout the sports and wellness industry.
