Job Description: The position is for a manufacturer in Ponca City . The Quality Manager will utilize Lean, methodologies, techniques, and tools to facilitate the transfer of such learning by developing and training individual and teams necessary to support continuous improvement activities. The Lean Manager conducts these activities in conjunction with other organizational leaders and members to facilitate support for implementing continuous improvements of all processes. The Lean Manager will prepare and make presentations and status reports to keep management abreast of priorities, progress, and results.

Responsibilities:

• Develop a Lean strategy for the plant to include specific goals, objectives, timetables, action plans.
• Lead, train and mentor, the staff in the principles, methods, and applications of the Lean process.
• Coordinate plant level Lean initiatives to ensure optimum use of resources and minimize waste.
• Conduct time and motion studies and/or utilize value stream mapping and process charting to establish and validate production standards.
• Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions, work procedures, standard operating practices, and directions with or without immediate supervision.
• Collect, analyze, and report data results to the leadership team.
• Monitor progress tracking key performance indicators and providing regular updates to senior management.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements, identifying new improvement opportunities within the organization.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of 4 years technical degree in science, statistics, engineering, or quality or equivalent experience.
• Lean Six Sigma Certification (preferred)
• Quality management experience in manufacturing environment (preferred)
• 5 years’ experience in industrial manufacturing environment with excellent track record of business results and increasingly higher levels of responsibility in line operations or lean/engineering leadership roles.
• Experience in team development – problem solving, conflict resolution, building cooperative relationships, and effective communications.
• Project managing skills to ensure projects are completed on time and to specifications.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
