We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant / CPA for an established Commercial Property Management Company. The ideal candidate will have experience in accounting and finance, with a focus on commercial real estate or property management. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, managing financial operations for our diverse portfolio of commercial properties.

Responsibilities:

• Perform day-to-day accounting functions, including general ledger entries.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and reports for property owners and management.
• Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial data.
• Coordinate with property managers to review and analyze property-level financial performance.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes for commercial properties.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements.
• Work closely with external auditors and tax advisors during year-end audits and tax filings.
• Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support decision-making related to property acquisitions, dispositions, and leasing activities.
• Assist with special projects and initiatives as needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA designation preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance, with a focus on commercial real estate and / or property management.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with partnership and LLC accounting systems.
• Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting requirements.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $140,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
