Dental Assistant: Tired of corporate?

Small general dental office is seeking a dental assistant to join our team. We are looking for someone who not only has the necessary technical skills but also has a warm and caring personality, making our patients feel comfortable and at ease.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent patient care, assisting the dentist during procedures, and ensuring the smooth running of the dental office.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including preparation of instruments and materials, passing instruments, and suctioning
  • Take and process dental x-rays and impressions
  • Record patient information, treatment plans, and medical histories in the patient's chart
  • Maintain a clean and organized dental office, including sterilizing instruments and equipment and disinfecting treatment rooms
  • Greet and welcome patients to the practice, ensuring they feel comfortable and at ease
  • Respond to patient questions and concerns with empathy and understanding
  • Schedule appointments and manage patient records
  • Assist Business Team when necessary

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of a dental assisting program
  • Current CPR certification
  • Preferred 1 year of experience as a dental assistant
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Warm and caring personality
