Job Summary:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Dental Assistants are expected to effectively and efficiently perform all or some of the following:

• Patient management including communicating with Front Desk Lead Coordinator.
• Dental digital charting of patient's pre-existing and accurate inputting of patient progress notes.
• Providing patients with post-op instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures, such as the placement of a restoration (filling).
• Taking impressions of patient's teeth for study casts (models of teeth).
• Preparing and maintaining dental instruments, supplies, and equipment.
• Taking digital x-rays, collecting and recording patient health histories.
• Serving as an infection control officer, developing infection control protocol, and preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment.
• Monitor equipment for all operatories, accurate completion, and follow-up of repair logs.
• Completion of daily/weekly/monthly tasks including autoclave testing and cleaning of traps.
• Assisting with monthly supply orders.
• Assisting clinic with recall and treatment plan reports, when requested.
• Responsible for adhering to all government and company regulations.
• Helping to provide direct patient care in the dental office.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Self-starter with a minimum of two years' Dental Assisting experience and a winning attitude.
• 3 References (One Dental Employer Contact & Resume Should Be Sent To Our Offices.
• CPR Valid Certification
• Pass A Background Check
• Reliable transportation.
• Available For Immediate Hire ( In-Person Interview & Working Interview)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 34 – 40 per week
