Position Title: SimpleGreek General Manager

SUMMARY:

Oversee and coordinate the planning, organizing,training and leadership necessary t achieve stated objectives in sales, costs,employee retention, guest service and satisfaction, food quality, cleanlinessand sanitation.

§Effectivelyand efficiently manage restaurant by following the SIMPLEGREEK best practicesand SIMPLEGREEK DNA to ensure Guest satisfaction and profit optimization

§Manageall restaurant operations including scheduling, planning and forecasting whileupholding standards, product quality and cleanliness

§Optimizeprofit by ensuring that labor is scheduled efficiently, and food supplies areordered to maintain appropriate inventory

§Preparereports and analyze metrics to identify opportunities and act promptly to correct

§Buildsyear over year sales by promoting restaurant locally, ensuring guestsatisfaction and prompt problem resolution

§Ensurethe environment in restaurant supports the SIMPLEGREEK culture

§Exercisegood judgement and decision making in escalating concerns and aggressivelyresolve issues

§Responsiblefor compliance with OSHA, local health and safety codes as well as SIMPLEGREEKsafety and security policies

§Emphasizesafety, sanitation and security awareness, and ensure that Team Members are properlytrained to create safe situations

§Ensureadherence to SIMPLEGREEK cash handling and payment processing procedures

§Conductline checks in accordance with SIMPLEGREEK standards

§Maintainadequate staffing levels and responsible for selection, On boarding, andretention of Team Members through motivation, recognition, coaching anddevelopment

§Requireoperational excellence and develop management staff in all areas of restaurantleadership and SIMPLEGREEK standards

§Setperformance expectations and monitor Steps to Success process to ensure qualitytraining

§Regularlymeasure and evaluate guest service standards by using various feedback tools todevelop and implement plans for continuous guest service improvements

§Ensurecomplete and timely execution of Trello communication

§Adhereto federal, State and Local laws in addition to SIMPLEGREEK policy(regulatecompliance with work authorization/ alcohol service/wage and hour laws and,where applicable, break requirements), holds team member and managers accountableto these standards

§Prepareand conduct performance appraisals and one to ones with management staff andTeam Members and take any necessary disciplinary action in line with SIMPLEGREEKstandards

§Responsiblydelegate and follow up on tasks while remaining accountable overall forrestaurant and Team Members

§EnsureSIMPLEGREEK standards on equipment, facility and grounds are maintained byusing preventative maintenance program

§Championand adhere to all SIMPLEGREEK standards and policies including the Non –Negotiables, DNA, and Business Plan

§Resolutionoriented/ protects Company assets; prevent/ diffuse situations that createpotential risks to organization

§Bea mentor and devote time to training, coaching and developing others byadapting to individual learning and motivational needs

ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS

§Performall FOH/ BOH functions including food preparation, cooking, cleaning servingand greeting guests

§Otherduties assigned by the supervisor

REQUIREMENTS

§Mustbe least 21 years of age

§Aminimum of three (3) years of prior experience as a Restaurant General Manager,with a demonstrable record of success

§Stateand local alcohol enforcement, where applicable

§Recordof maintaining high standards in restaurant cleanliness, sanitation, foodquality and guest satisfaction

§Highschool diploma or equivalent required

§Passionfor the business and compassion for people

§Highly-Energetic, self- motivated, goal oriented and dependable

§Excellentoral and written communication skills and outstanding leadership, interpersonaland conflict resolution skills

§Basicbusiness math and accounting skills, and strong analytical/ decision- makingskills

§Mustbe able to work a flexible schedule including opening, closing, weekends andholidays

§Mustbe willing to work a minimum of 55 hours per week. Reliable transportationrequired

§ServSafeCertified

§P&Land Sales Building experience Preferred
