You would be responsible for carrier invoice audits, shipping data admin, A/R processing, and general support to clients billing and operations as needed.

As a Billing Specialist, you would be responsible for the following but not limited to:

Duties and Responsibilities

• Download, review and audit various shipping carrier reports.
• Access carrier data via .csv files to match with order shipping data.
• Extensively use Google Sheets to add, verify and audit shipping data.
• Record and verify warehouse Billable Actions.
• Billing cycle prep – effectively interpret reports from order management system, validate for accuracy/integrity, generate data subsequently used for client invoices.
• Create billing profiles in Order Management System called Shiphero.
• Obtains revenue amounts by verifying transaction information, computing charges, preparing and emailing invoices, identifying delinquent accounts and insufficient payments.
• Create client invoices.
• Maintains financial security by following internal accounting controls.
• Reporting to management and advising on process improvements.

Qualifications

• High accuracy in data entry.
• Strong ability to identify and resolve discrepancies and exceptions.
• Strong organizational and administrative skills.
• Ability to listen, communicate (written and verbal) with excellent grammar, spelling and proofreading skills.
• Quickbooks experience preferred.

Requirements

• Associates degree.
• Intermediate Excel skills.
• Billing experience minimum 2 years.

Aptitudes: ability to make calculations, ability to organize, to multi-task, and optimize individual performance.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
