We are currently recruiting for the position of:
Store Business Partner - 3401 Oakdale Road, Modesto, CA 95355
The Store Business Partner works in tandem with the Store Director to orchestrate the completion of storewide programs and activities. Assists the Store Director with administrative aspects of store related business, team member focus, and community events. The position supports all team members, providing instruction, training and guidelines for effective and continuous application of workplace policies and procedures. Performs store administrative tasks and functions for the Store Director; coordinates maintains store master calendar and social media platforms to communicate calendared events, deadlines, and visits.
The Store Business Partner conducts store audits for all company programs, to include special request audits by upper management. This position reviews store adherence with the Company’s compliance programs to ensure that store processes comply with company guidelines and local, state and federal laws. This role communicates closely with store management on various courses of action related to the business and team member engagement with follow up to reporting to the Store Director. The position will collaborate with HR from time to time on all team member related activities to support the overall people first culture of The Save Mart Companies.

Knowledge – Areas of specialty or expertise; Knowledge of store-related operations, systems, policies, procedures, compliance and management roles pertaining to audited areas: front-end, inventory, stocking, receiving, safety, food safety rules and sanitation, weights and measures, hazardous waste, other applicable government regulations
Attributes – Characteristics a team member must display in the job; for instance, outgoing, energetic, dynamic, enthusiastic and engaging, positive attitude, ability to accept and learn from criticism, flexibility, adaptable, innovative, embrace change.
Education: High School Diploma (or G.E.D. equivalent). Knowledge gained through formal education or certification (i.e. RMCP), specialized retail training, or additional grocery retail experience; some college is preferred
Experience: Two years of related experience
Other: Available to work a variety of required retail hours.
Physical: Store environment: ability to sit, stand, walk, kneel, stoop, use stairs, reach, pull and lift objects; requires lifting up to 40 lbs.
