JOB OVERVIEW:
The Volunteer and Events Manager plans, organizes and implements specific events for fundraising and public relations purposes. This individual cultivates new and existing corporate relationships to secure event sponsorship and in-kind donations. May supervise event staff and volunteer with the event planning committee.

History Tony Sanneh, a St. Paul native and recently retired professional soccer player, founded the Sanneh Foundation in 2003 with a goal of helping inner city kids. After 15 years playing professional soccer including playing for the U.S. in the 2002 World Cup Tony moved back to St. Paul in 2009 to dedicate himself full-time to work of the Sanneh Foundation. I grew up with my communities constantly helping and supporting me. There was never any doubt in my mind that I would come back to Minnesota and offer that same support to others. Tony Sanneh In its sixth successful year, Gala4Goals is The Sanneh Foundations PREMIER fundraising event! Gala4Goals is an evening filled with entertainment and community. Guests are treated to a cocktail and appetizer reception, plated dinner, celebratory program and energetic after party. Celebrity auctioneer Karen Sorbo brings a lively twist to the unique items available in the live and super silent auctions. And as always, we incorporate the community we serve into the evening. We invite you to help us celebrate the success of The Sanneh Foundations innovative youth programming and its profound effect on the lives and futures of the children in the Twin Cities and around the world.
