GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
1. Complete lesson planning under the guidance of director.

2. Carry out lesson plan for the day.

3. Assist other duties as assigned by the director. Assist with class rotation and general decorum.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
1. Assist with programmatic lessons in prescribed area (education, recreation, devotion, music).

2. Supervise the participants in the particular lesson of the day.

3. Receive the outline of lesson plan from Director and develop the lesson to accomplish desired outcomes.

4. Acquire the needed resources for the days activities.

MINOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist with supervision of participants moving through class rotations. Assist with the snack and meal decorum. Insure the safety of children while on premises.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOB

Education:

College degree is not required but a degree in a childhood development would be helpful. Certifications and experience with child-care and education would be required.

Experience:

1. Two years of child-care and/or community center programming is required.

2. A personal relationship with Jesus Christ is required since this position is a ministry position.

3. Must be at least 18 years of age.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Lifting up to 35 lbs. may be required.

Must be able to be on their feet for extended periods of time.
