Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Select high-valued merchandise located at ARC Center to sell on the E-Commerce platform and supply physical stores with a steady supply of collectible merchandise.
Performs extensive research on items to be posted; determines the best possible price.
Tests items to confirm functionality or authenticity prior to posting (e.g. electronics, jewelry).
Must perform with a basic understanding of third-party research software, Terapeak; including the ability to use listing and shipping software, Sure Done, Ship Station.
Administer inventory procedures to track physical inventory currently on auction and to ensure pending items are carefully secured in designated areas.
Assists with photography of items for sale to be displayed on an auction website.
Must be able to perform duties with an extremely low error rate.
Handles phone and email customer support in a timely manner.
Follows up on all orders with customers in real-time.
Meets daily posting quotas and weekly and monthly sales targets determined by Supervisor.
Handles all fulfillment requests by processing all customer orders.
Takes an active role and partners with the District Sales Manager, E-Commerce Specialist Associate, and team members in the day-to-day operation of the E-commerce business.
Maintains a safe work environment by keeping E-commerce designated area neat/clean.
Other Duties and Responsibilities:
Selects the most cost-effective shipping method for items purchased,
Handles all stock shipping, scheduling, and ensuring all orders are shipped within their handling times.
Sends shipping notifications in real-time to customers after all orders are finalized.
Handles all damage/loss claims and follows upon them in a timely manner.
Must work with speed, accuracy, and high productivity. This means working efficiently and pacing the workload.
Maintains a clean, neat, and organized area(s).
Demonstrates a desire to learn new things and to advance within the organization.
Provides coaching, training, and development of new employees.
Other written or verbal duties may be assigned by the E-Commerce Supervisor, District Sales Manager, and/or the Command Retail Directors.
Qualifications:
Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Fluent in the English language, written and spoken; bilingual preferred.
Excellent Computer & Technology Skills with a focus on Windows Operating Systems (7 or higher) and all Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, etc.)
Strong internet research skills.
Must possess 1-2 years of merchandising experience, including boutique merchandise.
Must possess 2-4 years of customer service and/or retail experience.
Knowledge of online selling platforms and Photoshop preferred.
Passion for working in a high-growth business requires fast-paced performance with a high attention to detail and organization, a commitment to excellence, and a positive friendly attitude.
Professional at all times demonstrating strong interpersonal skills.
Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Able to work under pressure and multitask.
Must pass a background check, which will include Criminal History and Sex Offender Registry.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or continuous basis.
Ability to grasp, push, pull and move heavy objects such as household and office furniture, packages, and all other bulk items.
Ability to operate a telephone
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to perform various repetitive motion tasks.
