Job Description

The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday 2pm to 6pm

Starting salary is $12 per hour

Summary / Primary Purpose : To protect, guide, stimulate, and help the children in the After School and Summer Day Camp program.

To provide wholesome, character-building programming & supervision to school-age children.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Assist the program director with program preparation.
• Prepare materials and equipment needed for daily activities.
• Serve meals and supervise the children during meal periods.
• Oversee specified age group and the daily activities each day.
• Lead and participate in all facets of the program : recreation, snack, craft, pool, fieldtrips, etc.
• Enforces and adheres to the facility policies of no swearing, no alcoholic drinking, no drug use and no violence.
• Follow progressive disciplinary procedures when needed.
• Document and report accidents using the EER process.
• End of day cleaning, organizing as needed.
• Driving is an essential role of the position.
• All other duties as assigned.
