The ND Long Term Care Association is looking for an Office Manager to join our small, fast-paced,
and flexible office in Bismarck, ND.
This role comes with an excellent salary and benefit package. Benefits include health, dental and
vision insurance, retirement, and annual/sick leave.
The purpose of this role is to manage overall office operation, assist President and members, and
perform accounting duties. We have a comprehensive onboarding and training program.
Responsibilities
• Clerical duties include answering phones, assisting with members’ questions, data input and
processing, scheduling meetings, processing mail, and ordering office supplies.
• Bookkeeping duties using QuickBooks include accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll
processing, monthly closure procedures, prepare monthly financial statements, assist with
documentation for annual audit, and assist with details as requested for annual budgeting.
• Track and update memberships.
• Legislative duties include registering lobbyists and filing reports, setting up membership calls
during session, and assisting with the NDLTCA’s Political Action Committee’s events.
• Assist with conferences and conventions.
• Website maintenance.
• Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills
• A minimum of five years of experience in an office environment performing administrative
duties.
• A minimum of three years of experience with accounting services.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, customer service skills, organizational skills, and
meticulous attention to detail.
• Self-starter and ability to work independently, sometimes on multiple projects or
assignments.
• Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to use Microsoft Office,
QuickBooks, and Adobe CS6.
• Ability to take thorough and accurate meeting minutes.
