The Salvation Army, an internationally recognized non-profit, faith-based organization, has an opening for a Part Time Warehouse Worker in our Family Thrift Store in Dequeen, AR. Job Summary Receives, sorts, prices and prepares donated items for display in the store; determines suitability and pricing of items based on established standards; assists in maintaining the orderliness and cleanliness of the warehouse area. Prepares donated items, not suitable for display in store, to be processed through the salvage program which includes operating, inventorying, and maintaining textile bailer.Essential FunctionsThis job description should not be interpreted as all inclusive. The incumbent may be requested to perform job-related responsibilities and tasks other than those stated in this job description. General Responsibilities (95%)Receives, inspects and sorts donated items such as clothes, shoes, household items, bric-a-brac, etc. according to the category and condition.
