Thank you for your interest in The Salvation Army Learning Zone! This position is a full-time position, with the hours of 10:00am-6:00pm, Monday-Friday.

The Salvation Army's Learning Zone is a 4-Star licensed Christian childcare program that provides a safe and nurturing space that encourages the individual development of each child’s social, emotional, language, cognitive, and motor skills with the goal of establishing a solid foundation for future learning and thriving.

How You'll Contribute
As an Assistant Teacher, you'll be responsible for coming alongside our Lead Teachers in facilitating lesson plans, in helping our students to learn and grow cognitively, socially and emotionally, in bringing your creative best to our center, and in engaging and supporting the families we serve.
Qualifications You'll Need
- A minimum of High School diploma
- Experience and passion working with children
- An appreciation and support for a Christian-based learning environment
- Prior experience in a licensed childcare program is a plus
- A positive and cheerful attitude
- A desire to be a role model and influencer
- A valid driver's license
