The Development Director provides strategic direction and operational oversight to the Development Department. Raises funds for the operation of The Salvation Army of the Wausau Corps by developing relationships with donors, securing major gifts, and coordinating all fundraising events. Knowledge of The Salvation Army's mission, philosophy, policies, and practices in securing funds from donors is essential to this position.

Education: Bachelor's degree required
Certifications: Valid Wisconsin Driver's license with approval to drive from The Salvation Army's insurance carrier.
Experience: 3-5 years of fundraising experience; CRM system experience (Salesforce preferred).
Or any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the requisite knowledge, skills and abilities.
