Cannabis Retail Store Manager

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced cannabis industry professional for a management position at 2 Cannabis Retail stores. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the store, managing the staff, and ensuring excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, exceptional organizational abilities, and a passion for delivering an exceptional shopping experience.

Responsibilities:
- Overseeing daily operations of the retail store
- Manage and supervise a team of retail associates

-Manage employee schedule for 2 cannabis retail locations

-Track time and approve time off requests.

-Communicate with corporate on daily happenings at the retail locations
- Ensure excellent customer service by providing assistance and resolving customer inquiries or complaints
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels, including receiving and organizing merchandise
- Implement visual merchandising strategies to maximize sales and enhance the overall store appearance
- Train and onboard new employees, ensuring they are knowledgeable about products and store policies
- Handle cash register operations, including opening and closing procedures
- Develop sales goals and strategies

- Handle all closing duties

Requirements:
- Proven experience in a retail environment, preferably in a supervisory or assistant manager role

-Must have some experience with Metrc

-Must be willing to cover shifts as necessary
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent negotiation and sales skills to drive revenue growth
- Ability to manage and motivate a team to achieve sales targets
- Proficient in using cash registers and other retail software systems
- Demonstrated time management skills to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously
- Knowledge of store management principles and practices
- Familiarity with payroll procedures and basic accounting principles

-Familiarity with scheduling and scheduling platforms
