Transfiguration School has provided a quality education since 1937 for students in Pre-School through Eighth Grade. Our community goal is to offer an educational program that develops competent, independent, and resourceful students who will possess a strong sense of self and a life-long commitment to learning. Transfiguration School is seeking a full-time or part-time middle school teacher to teach social studies for the 2024-2025 school year. The ideal candidate is committed to excellence, creates and implements engaging lessons, analyzes data, assesses student progress, and will work diligently to provide a quality education to every child. Competency in content standards, integration of technology and the ability to communicate well with faculty, staff and students is a must.
Candidates must:
Possess a Bachelor’s degree
Have a minimum of 2 years teaching experience working with students in middle school.
Have experience teaching social studies
Have knowledge and experience using content standards and integrating technology into the classroom
Practicing Catholic preferred
Hold a teaching credential or currently be enrolled in a credential program preferred

Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
