The River Merchant in Kent, OH is looking for Bartenders to join our Bar Team. Our establishment is located at 911 North Mantua Street in Kent, Ohio including a seasonal deck overlooking Cuyahoga River. Featuring a rustic vibe and upscale food and beverage options, The River Merchant is Kent's premier riverfront restaurant. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, ambitious, and hard-working; one who takes initiative in providing tailored personal service to our guests.

We are Looking For:

*Experienced Bartenders *20-30 Hours a Week Sunday & Monday Availability

Qualifications:

*Proven working experience as a bartender (2 Years) *Craft Cocktail Knowledge/ Experience *Excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing and serving drinks *Positive attitude and direct communication skills *Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean *Ability to memorize menus recipes

Responsibilities:

*Maintain a clean and orderly bar and workstation *Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies *Comply with all food and beverage regulations *Interact with guests and take food and beverage orders *Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience *Check customer's identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age *Assess customers needs and preferences and make recommendations *Serve beer, wine and liquor pours *Mix ingredients to prepare craft cocktails
