The Valet/Bell attendant's primary function is to serve our guests with all luggage and valet parking needs in a timely and five-star service oriented manner. The Valet/Bell staff are the first and last impression for our guests and must always present themselves in a clean-shaven, pressed uniform. Professional, courteous interactions with all departments and guests is a must!
Duties may include but are not limited to the following:
A. Luggage storage, baggage retrieval, and delivery requests for guests.
B. Valet vehicle parking and retrieval for guests of the hotel and restaurant.
C. Welcome guests upon arrival and assist with luggage and tour of the property.
D. Properly tag all guest vehicles for accuracy of room number, name, and vehicle.
E. Escort guests to room and provide a AAA Five Diamond orientation of the room.
F. Maintain, clean, organize and stock bell closet and back office.
G. Maintain an organized and clear loading zone.
H. Complete daily shift checklist.
I.Complete any other tasks and assignments as directed by Hotel Management.
Requirements for this position:
1. Professional and courteous with excellent communications skills.
2. Official, clean driving record.
3. Ability to drive a manual transmission.
4. Capable of lifting heavy objects up to 50lbs.
