Front Office Manager Location: Downtown Luxury Boutique Hotel (54 rooms) About the Opportunity: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Front Office Manager to lead our team at our prestigious 54-room luxury boutique hotel in the heart of the downtown area. This role plays a vital part in ensuring exceptional guest experiences, fostering a culture of excellence, and upholding our luxurious brand standards. Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage all aspects of the front office department, including front desk, bellman, and valet services, guaranteeing guests receive prompt, courteous, and professional interactions.
  • Develop and implement strategies to elevate guest satisfaction and loyalty by anticipating their needs, exceeding expectations, and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Foster a seamless experience for group bookings, collaborating with the sales team on pre-arrival arrangements, room assignments, and additional service requests.
  • Train, instruct, and motivate the front desk staff, bellmen, and valets, equipping them with the tools and knowledge to deliver high-quality and efficient service.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance departments to ensure impeccable room upkeep and efficient execution of assigned projects, closely monitoring progress and ensuring timely completion.
  • Maintain accurate guest billing for current and future reservations, overseeing proper handling of credit card and cash transactions in accordance with hotel policies.
  • Cultivate a welcoming atmosphere by maintaining a visible presence in the lobby and public areas, readily available to assist guests with inquiries.
  • Monitor and manage the front office budget, including labor costs, supplies, and expenses, ensuring operations remain within financial targets.
  • Stay informed of local events and activities to provide guests with up-to-date recommendations.
  • Implement and maintain front office policies and procedures, adhering to all relevant safety and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with other department managers to facilitate a team-oriented environment that delivers a consistent and exceptional guest experience.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of 3 years of front office management experience in a luxury hotel setting.
  • Proven leadership skills with a history of successfully training and motivating high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering positive interactions with guests, staff, and management.
  • Proficiency in hotel management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong attention to detail with exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to handle challenging situations with tact and diplomacy.
