Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and guest-oriented Bartender to join our team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for full food menu and cocktail/beer/wine knowledge; as well as preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to our guests. Your role will also involve providing exceptional guest service and ensuring a positive and enjoyable experience for our patrons.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and take their drink orders
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in a timely manner
- Adhere to all food safety and beverage handling procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- Monitor alcohol consumption and prevent over-intoxication
- Provide recommendations on drink selections based on customer preferences
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Maintain knowledge of current drink trends & spirit/beer/wine information, menu items, and promotions
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth operation of the bar
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Bartender or in a similar role preferred
- Proficient in cash handling and retail math
- Familiarity with TOAST POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Strong basic math skills for calculating bills and making change
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Exceptional customer service skills to provide a positive experience for guests
