They are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operatorto join their sheet metal manufacturing team.
Responsibilities :
- Setup operate and program press brake machines to bend fold and shapesheet metal according to engineering drawings andspecifications.
- Readand interpret technical drawings and productionorders.
- Selectappropriate tooling and set up the press brake for eachjob.
- Inputprograms and adjust machine parameters using the press brakecontroller.
- Monitormachine operations to ensure the quality and accuracy of producedparts.
- Inspectfinished products to verify conformance withspecifications.
- Performroutine maintenance and troubleshooting of press brakemachines
Hours :
- Mondayto Friday 40.5 hours
- 2pmclose on Fridays
- Saturdaywork asrequired
Requirements
- Minimumfive years of experience as a Press Brake Operator in the sheetmetalindustry.
- Proficiencyin reading and interpreting technical drawings andspecifications.
- Strongknowledge of press brake machine setup operation andprogramming.
- Abilityto program (BEND CAM) and adjust press brake machines using thecontrollerinterface.
- BasicCAD training and familiarity with CADsoftware.
- Excellentmathematical skills and understanding of measurements anddimensions.
- Strongattention to detail and ability to produce highqualitywork.
- Strongproblemsolving and troubleshootingabilities.
- Goodcommunication and teamworkskills.
