The Director of Career Services is responsible for all Career Services staff and activities related to student transition from graduation to workforce planning.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including problem-solving and decision-making
• Maintain a positive attitude and strong student focus to inspire, engage, and coach potential students
• Proven self-starter who continually pursues learning opportunities

In the Director of Career Services role, you will:

• Plan, develop and administer career development assistance programs for students, graduates and alumni
• Builds effective relationships with industry constituents and other partners to identify employment opportunities
• Create and develop new strategies to support graduating students
• Maintains department compliance with government accreditation, and other regulatory bodies
• Carry out supervisory responsibilities which include the following: planning, assigning, and directing work of subordinates; appraising their performances; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
• Complete weekly and/or monthly reports as directed
• Identify critical problems, develops solutions, and coordinate the necessary personnel to implement solutions
• Partner with compliance regarding placement verification and documentation processes and policies.

• Must be able to prioritize, multi-task, perform well under pressure, meet deadlines and work flexible hours.
• Candidates must be able to successfully pass a criminal history check and drug test.
