Union position rate $25.94 per hour

Shift differential for shifts starting after 3pm

Position Summary :

Works at the direction of the Assisted Living charge nurse and Assisted Living Manager according to scheduled duties. Provides direct resident assistance with medication self-administration and activities of personal care as needed.

Maintains medication and treatment areas. Assists with medication set up and medication pass, orders medications, and tracks medications as necessary.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required
• Certified Nursing Assistant certificate required or a combination of education and experience
• Must be 21 years of age
• Completion of an approved RCFE Medication Assistance Training program with a passing grade
• Must be knowledgeable of pertinent regulations with monitoring and licensing of the facility
• Knowledgeable of medical terminology
• Must have current First Aid and CPR certification or be eligible

Physical Requirements

• Daily duties include lifting, squatting, bending, reaching, prolonged standing, walking
• Must be able to frequently lift and / or move up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand and / or walk up to 90% of the time
