Introduction:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Baker to join our team and specialize in creating delicious and authentic Filipino delicacies. As a Baker, you will have the opportunity to showcase your creativity and expertise in crafting traditional and modern Filipino desserts and pastries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and bake a variety of Filipino delicacies according to the company’s proprietary recipes and production methods with precision and achieve productivity goals
- Develop new and innovative recipes for Filipino delicacies, while also maintaining the authenticity of the flavors.
- Ensure all ingredients are fresh and of high quality.
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
- Collaborate with the team to plan and create seasonal and special event menus.
- Keep accurate records of inventory and supplies, and assist with ordering when necessary.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station, and assist with cleaning and maintaining the kitchen.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers and answering any questions they may have about the products.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Baker, specifically with Filipino delicacies.
- Knowledge of traditional and modern Filipino desserts and pastries.
- Creativity and ability to develop new and unique recipes.
- Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation procedures.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks at once.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Culinary degree or certificate in Baking and Pastry Arts is preferred.
- Valid food handler certificate
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Baker, preferably with Filipino delicacies.
- Knowledge of Filipino culture and cuisine.
- Basic math skills for measuring and scaling ingredients.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in a hot environment.
