The Market Manager is responsible for the successful business development of their market which includes business planning and budgeting. They are also responsible for development of a business referral network
(of Centers of Influence (COI's)), prospecting of potential clients, active participation in networking events and holding leadership roles within community and business organizations to extend name recognition and the reputation of the Bank.
The Market Manager is responsible for the coaching, performance management and talent management of direct reports. They are also responsible for overseeing their market branches operational proficiency, sales success and the development of the branch employees while ensuring that the branch practices sound risk management and adheres to all policies and procedures of the Bank.
The Market Manager III position typically consists of the following factors:
Manage 5 or more branches
Deposit base of $250MM
FTE count of 25

The Market Manager will lead a Retail or Corporate initiative throughout the calendar year and will be responsible for mentoring and coaching new hires and peers as needed. The MM may also act as a back-up to the Regional as necessary.

Directly supervises Banking Center Managers. Indirectly supervises branch personnel through subordinate supervisors.

7 years in a retail sales/service environment
3 - 5 years management/ supervisory experience
Multi branch experience needed
Bank experience preferred

WORKING CONDITIONS
Work is mainly performed under general office conditions in a retail-banking establishment. Willing and able to work required overtime. Willing and able to travel to other locations/branches. Must be flexible and demonstrate the ability to adapt to new job locations and reassignments as directed.

Those present in a retail-banking establishment. In the course of working with customers, the employee may encounter abusive, aggressive or unpredicted threatening behavior. Must observe safety and security practices at the Branch.
