1 Director of Contracts Job in Falls, VA
The Prospective Group (TPG) is Hiring a Director of Contracts Near Falls, VA
- Manage contracts, programs and compliance functions.
- Lead the execution, administration, and maintenance of contracts, subcontracts, nondisclosure agreements, teaming agreements, and other contractual documents.
- Ensure compliance with applicable federal standards and regulations, including Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) and Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).
- Oversee reporting requirements for GSA, federal agency and other government oversight entities.
- Maintain detailed and organized files for all contracts, which will generally include the original contract, correspondences, authorizations, changes/deviations, amendments, clarifications, payment schedules, etc.
- Collaborate with legal support services on contractual matters.
- Participate in contractual negotiations.
- Coordinate the execution of amendments and modifications to contractual documents as required.
- Maintain up-to-date corporate profiles in the System for Award Management (SAM), GSA OASIS, GSA STARS III, GSA MAS, SBA portals, etc.
- Manage CPARS and other contract performance assessments.
- Ensure contractual deliverables and reporting requirements are met.
- Ensure subcontractors are complying with performance requirements.
- Support finance and accounting with reporting and compliance.
- Support VP of Business Operations with insurance compliance.
- Serve is primary POC for TPG’s Joint Venture, e.g., TPG-Z, Xenith, and Techniko.
- Supervise and support program and project managers to ensure successful delivery.
- Track costs for all programs, ensuring alignment with obligated funding. Provide monthly forecasts and cost management for contracts and programs, including forecasting monthly, identifying potential budget overruns or underruns.
- Work closely with the Director of Finance and Accounting to provide guidance on labor categories, rates, and pricing.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with the customer, prime contractors, and industry partners and subcontractors.
- Track performance and seeking improvements in support of customer satisfaction.
- Ensure program and project managers are closely monitoring timesheets for billing accuracy; review invoices.
- Assess risks to project or program and plans for mitigation or remediation.
- Perform monthly Project/Program Management Reviews (PMRs), communicating project status, risks, financials etc. to executive management.
- Review and analyze solicitations for potential risks and suggested proposal strategies, including compliance with requirements and recommended pricing approach.
