We are growing! The Playing Field is hiring Assistant Teachers at our East Side and Midtown locations.
Qualified candidates will have completed at least one course in Early Childhood Education and may be eligible to apply for an apprenticeship position.
The apprenticeship positions provide the opportunity to "earn as you learn" by completing a technical diploma with Madison College while receiving academic and financial support while completing the apprenticeship program.
We offer a supportive workplace with extensive training and coaching and low child to teacher ratios. In addition to competitive salaries, we offer a $500 sign on bonus after completion of the probationary period as well as annual retention bonuses of $1000 or more.
Health, dental, vision, long and short-term disability insurance, as well as a retirement plan with a company match are offered to staff working 30 hours or more per week.
Full time staff also receive 20 days of paid time off annually plus 8 paid holidays.
