The Playing Field Madison is Hiring an Early Childhood Bus Aid Near Madison, WI

Our East location is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Early Childhood Bus Aid. This position is a part time position. Candidates can complete a morning bus route or afternoon bus route, or both routes in a split shift. All duties will be completed under the direct supervision of the Transportation Specialist and Site Director.

Essential Job Functions:

Maintain confidentiality of information relating to children and their families at all times.
Provide care and support to assigned child in alignment with social emotional expectations set by the Lead Teachers and Conscious Discipline expectations.
Supervise assigned children at all times during the boarding, trip, and drop-off transitions.
Establish and maintain effective relationships with child, family, and staff.
Complete daily documentation records accurately and completely.
Demonstrate openness and cooperation and willingness to learn new skills.
Function as contributing member of the transportation team.

Job Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED required.
Course work in Early Childhood Education or willingness to complete within 30 days.
Demonstrated experience working with young children.
Ability to physically move around the building, the bus, and outdoors.
Ability to safely lift children up to 50 pounds.
Ability to knee, squat, and move to a standing position from a low chair or the floor.
