Responsibilities:

• Curriculum Design and Execution: Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that incorporate VR/AR technology to support the STEM curriculum and enhance learning outcomes.
• Student Engagement: Foster a vibrant learning environment that encourages students’ curiosity and enthusiasm through interactive and immersive educational activities.
• Classroom Management: Efficiently manage classroom dynamics and ensure a safe and respectful environment for all students.
• Performance Monitoring: Regularly assess student progress through both formal and informal methods, providing feedback and adjusting teaching strategies as necessary.
• Technology Integration: Seamlessly integrate VR/AR tools into daily activities and ensure all equipment is used safely and effectively.
• Parent Communication: Maintain open lines of communication with parents and guardians, providing regular updates on student progress and curriculum details.
• Professional Development: Participate in ongoing professional development sessions to stay abreast of educational trends and technological advancements.
• Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other teachers, staff, and administration to enhance curriculum and student experiences.

Requirements:

• Educational Background: Associate’s degree in Education, Child Development, or a related field. A bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Certifications: Valid teaching certificate or credential appropriate for teaching school-aged children.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years experience in teaching or a related educational role, with a proven track record of enhancing student learning outcomes. Experience with VR/AR technology in an educational setting is a strong plus.
• Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with students, staff, and parents. Strong organizational and classroom management skills.
• Disposition: Passion for education, technology, and innovation. A compassionate and patient educator who is excited to foster a dynamic and inclusive learning environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.50 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
