1st Shift Facilities Maintenance Technician
THE PLASTEK GROUP is seeking experienced Facilities Maintenance Personnel for is Corporate Facilities Maintenance Group located in Erie, PA. This is an excellent and exciting opportunity to work for a secure, progressive, and technologically advanced company.
The successful candidate will be responsible for all necessary mechanical and technical tasks within the facilities.
2 years Experience with one or more of the following areas preferred.
Installation of machines, electrical construction and repair, welding, fabricating, plumbing, hydraulics, HVAC and carpentry.
Formal training and working experience with industrial electricity, air systems, plumbing fabricating, and carpentry.
Experience with HVAC and Motor Controls desired but not required.
Steel working, welding and torch use.
Blueprint experience
Standard Operating Procedures
Steel toe shoes required
Able to work 50’ above grade from ladders/scissor lifts
Able to lift 50 lbs.
Own tools.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Vocational schooling in building or construction trades a plus
1-2 years training and/or experience
Valid Driver’s License required
