Responsibilities:• Helping to ensure the School meets the Child Care Minimum Standards at all times, including adequate staffing in classrooms at all times
• Opening or closing the School on a daily basis
• Serving as the person in charge when the Director is not present
• Coaching caregivers on the team to grow them as early childhood professionals
• Assisting caregivers with curriculum implementation
• Assisting the Director and administrative team with day-to-day operational activities and with planning and executing special events
• Conducting Front Desk duties, such as answering the telephone and collecting tuition payments when the Receptionist is unavailable
• Assisting teachers and staff with ad hoc needs and helping to provide coverage for teachers
• Greeting parents, children and visitors upon arrival and departure
• Providing tours to prospective customers
• Maintaining open and effective communication with caregivers and staff
• Helping out in all areas of the center as needed (classrooms, front office, kitchen, laundry, etc.)
• Assisting with setup and cleanup of Water Play during the Summer Program
• Attending ongoing staff development activities, including our evening monthly staff meeting, and maintaining required level of training hours with documentation
